Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced PHP Developer to lead backend initiatives, shape system architecture, and drive long-term technical improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on mission-critical systems and influencing the overall backend strategy.

Responsibilities

Establish scalable architectural patterns and coding principles

Drive technical improvements and lead engineering initiatives

Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed environments

Ensure code quality, maintainability, and security

Partner with product, DevOps, QA, and engineering leadership

Requirements

6+ years of backend development experience with PHP

Expert knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL

Strong background in API design, microservices, and high-load systems

Extensive experience with unit and integration testing

Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Symfony

Knowledge of asynchronous or messaging architectures

Statistical/data engineering experience
