Our client – a fast-growing tech company in the global iGaming sector – is looking for an experienced Embedded C Developer to join their R&D team in Sofia. The role focuses on Linux-based gaming terminals and low-level system performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain embedded C software for x86 Linux devices

Optimize code for real-time performance, reliability, and security

Work closely with hardware (e.g., card readers, printers, touchscreens)

Debug hardware/software issues in Linux environments

Write and maintain Linux drivers

Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GLI, MGA)

Requirements:

3+ years of C programming in embedded/Linux environments

Strong understanding of Linux system programming (POSIX, syscalls, multithreading)

Experience with hardware protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI)

Familiarity with debugging tools (GDB, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers)

Nice to Have:

Linux system administration experience (systemd, X11, udev)

Web-enabled driver experience or Android development

Bash/Python scripting for automation
