About the Company

The Role

We are looking for a Database Developer experienced in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, who will take ownership of designing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale data systems. You’ll play a crucial role in building efficient data pipelines, optimizing performance, and ensuring the robustness of analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced data solutions using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.

Manage large datasets efficiently through data partitioning, sharding, and performance tuning.

Optimize queries, indexing, and caching strategies for high-speed analytics.

Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines for fast and reliable data ingestion.

Monitor database health and proactively manage performance through alerts and metrics.

Collaborate with analysts, developers, and product teams to align data solutions with business needs.

Troubleshoot complex database issues and ensure high availability.

Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Automate recurring tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

Stay up to date with the latest database technologies and innovations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Database Developer or Data Engineer.

Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse (or similar analytical DBMS).

Strong command of SQL and performance tuning techniques.

Experience with large-scale datasets and high-volume transactions.

Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.

Basic scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
