    Your Role

    We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to take ownership of key database systems used across mission-critical applications. This role focuses on both transactional and analytical workloads in a high-volume, production-grade environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL, strong optimization skills, and the ability to proactively improve infrastructure performance and reliability.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production environments

     

    Optimize database queries and ensure performance tuning across workloads

     

    Configure and manage replication (logical and physical models)

     

    Write and maintain stored procedures using PL/pgSQL

     

    Use tools such as pgBackRest, barman, or wal-e/g for backup and recovery

     

    Work within Linux environments, leveraging Bash for automation and scripting

     

    Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data integrity and system scalability

     

    Support and monitor high-availability and high-throughput systems

     

    Requirements

    Minimum 2 years of experience administering PostgreSQL

     

    Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization

     

    Experience with replication techniques (logical and physical)

     

    Proficiency in PL/pgSQL and stored procedure development

     

    Experience with backup tools such as pgBackRest, barman, or wal-e/g

     

    Confident working in Linux-based environments and scripting in Bash

     

    Familiarity with ClickHouse and ScyllaDB is a strong advantage

     

    Ability to work in dynamic, high-volume production settings
