The company offers a complete payment solution combining software, hardware, and financial services — all in one ecosystem.

Duties of the role:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and distribution across the organization.
• Support the development of a scalable and reliable data architecture aligned with evolving business needs.
• Partner closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, well-structured data that enables meaningful analysis and insights.
• Apply and promote best practices in data quality, reliability, and performance throughout the data lifecycle.
• Continuously optimise data workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ensure robust data security and compliance with relevant privacy and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Required skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer, with hands-on exposure to cloud-native data platforms.
• Proficiency in data-focused programming languages, such as Python and SQL.
• Practical experience using Airflow and Apache Spark within a cloud-based environment.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider — Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, capable of working efficiently with cross-functional teams.
