Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize data structures, schemas, and pipelines for new and existing data sources.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all storage systems and data streams.

Collaborate with data scientists to support feature engineering, data modeling, and machine learning workflows.

Manage high-performance analytical databases and real-time data processing, while deploying alternative storage solutions as needed.

Implement best practices for data security, management, and compliance.

Monitor data pipelines, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data infrastructure.

Document all processes, code, and workflows to ensure reproducibility and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, managing data streams and databases.

Strong skills in SQL and Python; knowledge of Java or Scala is a plus.

Experience with data streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Expertise in RDBMS solutions like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

Solid understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing (Redshift, Snowflake, Google Big Table, etc.).

Knowledge of machine learning and data science workflows.

Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Experience in high-volume, data-intensive environments, preferably in iGaming.
