Responsibilities

Review and interpret requirements to design reliable automated tests and implement them effectively.

Build, maintain, and run automated test scripts using established frameworks, including Playwright for UI testing and Rest Assured / Rest Sharp for API automation.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to embed automation throughout the development lifecycle and strengthen product quality.

Execute different types of automated tests such as functional, regression, and integration testing.

Detect, document, and track defects while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.

Improve and extend automation frameworks to boost scalability, maintainability, and overall efficiency.

Integrate automated testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.

Strong programming knowledge in Java or C#.

Practical experience with UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright.

Solid background in API automation using RestAssured or RestSharp.

Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern automation methodologies.

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA (Xray), TestRail, or equivalent.

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
