Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer

About the project:

Finish food delivery company founded in 2014 develops a local commerce platform that connects people looking to order food, groceries, and other goods with people interested in selling and delivering them.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior engineer you’ll work on production-level microservices in Kotlin, helping shape how merchants succeed with the partner. You’ll have opportunities to:

• Design, build, and scale reliable systems that power merchant experiences.
• Work across the full development lifecycle from business logic and testing to cloud infrastructure and data streaming.
• Collaborate on architecture and technology choices that keep our systems simple, scalable, and efficient.
• Grow your skills and knowledge by working alongside experienced teammates in an environment that values learning and experimentation.

Requirements:

• Working experience with any Java/Kotlin BE frameworks (at least 5 years)
• Working experience with relational and non-relational database (at least 5 years)
• Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD build pipelines
• Strong English verbal and written skills

Tech stack:

Our core technologies include Kotlin (Ktor, Koin, Spring, gRPC), PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, GitHub Actions, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
