    The Progress Telerik UI for Blazor engineering team is expanding and seeking a leader who can grow, support, and manage our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is an exciting opportunity offering hands-on involvement in hiring and team development, technical leadership, and strategic collaboration with a global product team.

    In this role you will:

    • Manage a diverse, cross-functional local team of 10 engineers, supporting their growth in alignment with business objectives
    • Drive collaboration with international peers across engineering, product, support, and marketing
    • Help define and align product and engineering strategic priorities
    • Guide the team through all stages of product development with clear technical direction
    • Make informed hiring and compensation decisions in line with team and business needs
    • Encourage open communication, seek team input, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
    • Champion major engineering initiatives within the Telerik UI for Blazor group and within the Web Division in the company
    • Support team development by recognizing achievements and coaching underperformance
    • Apply SDLC methodologies, including SAFe and Scrum

    Your background:

    • Solid experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, as well as R&D experience in software engineering across development, QA, or related roles
    • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions
    • Proven experience managing small to mid-sized inclusive engineering teams
    • Strong leadership record on engineering projects and initiatives
    • Experience mentoring both junior and senior engineers
    • Background working with automation, cloud technologies, or DevOps practices
    • Comfortable working with remote teams in fast-paced environments
    • Demonstrated ability to guide diverse, cross-functional teams to successful outcomes
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to foster strong working relationships across teams and leadership levels
