We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our Podio Team. Podio is a collaborative work and project management platform designed to streamline workflows, improve communication, and boost team productivity. It provides extensive customization options, allowing users to create personalized workspaces, build no-code apps, and manage tasks, projects, and communication effortlessly in one place. A standout feature is its workflow automation, which lets users automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes without requiring complex coding. With rules and triggers, actions can be executed automatically, saving time and increasing efficiency within Podio workspaces.
The Team

In this role, you will:
Develop, maintain and improve the cloud infrastructure services
Implement Infrastructure as Code methodologies to build, manage, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure
Suggests new methods and processes that enhance our quality, productivity, and speed
Develop and enhance deployment processes and scripts and build pipelines
Continuously monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and implement proactive measures for high availability and stability
We seek a proactive problem-solver who will analyze the root causes of issues and create effective solutions to foster continuous improvement within our organization
Act as technical expert during incidents, investigate and solve incidents on a deep technical level.
Drive root cause analysis and follow-up improvements to prevent reoccurring issues
Your background:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with AWS (RDS, EC2, ELB, ECS, ASG, Amazon MQ, Caching system)
Strong Knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins)
Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and comfortable working with command-line interfaces
Working knowledge of Docker
Be a confident self-starter with a curious mind
Be a team player
Excellent communication skills in English
Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:
Knowledge in CloudFormation
Experience with AWS AMI
Knowledge in OpenSearch
Experience with ElastiCache
Understanding of networking and security concepts (WAF, routing, firewalls, DDoS mitigation and prevention)
Cost optimizations experience
Familiarity with tools like New Relic or OpenSearch
Comfort with scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
Experience using Git and its command line
Experience with JIRA
