We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Systems Engineer – Virtualization & Storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports, develops and plans the virtual IT infrastructure of the Bank
• Administrates the Data Center infrastructure of the Bank (servers, storages, virtualization platform, backup solutions, data replication etc.), for the purpose of achieving constant accessibility to the working systems; analyses and removes unforeseen problems;
• Documents all changes implemented in the IT Infrastructure
• Monitor virtualization infrastructure performance and capacity, ensuring scalability and optimal resource utilization
• Configure and manage backup solutions and restore procedure
• Makes changes to the configuration of different types of equipment to meet the requirements of various projects
• Participates in discussions/negotiations with suppliers/participants in auctions for delivery of products and services for the Bank
• Supervises the entire process on the delivery, installation and configuration of newly acquired equipment and services
• Participates in discussions and decisions on integrating new IT services
• Discovers, proposes and implements new solutions, services, and products in relation to the needs of the business
• Participates in mutual projects with other departments (in the IT-related aspects)

Your profile:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in the field of data center maintenance
• Skillful at server configurations, including Linux and/or FreeBSD, Hard disks
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms, backup solutions , storage and data replication
• Very good communication skills and team working ability
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Proven track record of achieving results
