    Currently we are looking to extend our IT Department with an Application Administrator.

    As an Application Administrator your role will be:

    • Support and maintenance of key banking applications in production and non-production environments, including Windows-based applications and services
    • Monitoring and ensuring maximum availability of systems (core banking, payments, internet/mobile banking, reporting and internal tools)
    • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents across supported environments and services, incl. escalation and root-cause analysis. Analyze system logs, events and performance metrics
    • Planning, coordinating and implementing changes, upgrades and new software implementations
    • Work closely with internal teams (R&D, DevOps, BA, IT Infrastructure, InfoSec) and external vendors to deliver new functionalities, fixes, upgrades, features, projects, and architecture improvements
    • Automation and optimization of recurring tasks (scheduling, reporting, monitoring)
    • Take part in End-of-day/month/year procedures for the core banking system
    • Ensure systems and processes meet regulatory obligations and provide evidence during audits
    • Willingness to respond to critical production incidents outside business hours

    Requirements:

    • Professional background in a similar position
    • Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server)
    • Experience with Windows Services (deployment and monitoring)
    • Understanding of web technologies and web servers (.NET, IIS, Apache Tomcat)
    • Knowledge of SQL scripting MS SQL, Oracle PL/SQL
    • Familiarity with financial/banking systems is an advantage
    • Analytical, with strong incident management and problem-solving skills
    • Well-organized, proactive, and self-managed

    If you have experience or you are interested in some of the area bellow is a plus:

    • ITIL processes and ITSM tools: incident, request, and change management, with hands-on use of platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira
    • Messaging, scheduling, and automation platforms: IBM MQ, job schedulers such as VisualCron
    • Data Warehouse and ETL tools (e.g., BI, Pentaho, LDW, reporting solutions)
    • Payment systems such as DIAS, BORICA, SWIFT, and TIPS
    • PowerShell, Bash, Python for automation and troubleshooting
    • Compliance and risk management tools (SIRON EMBARGO, KYC, AML)
    • Monitoring and observability platforms: Zabbix, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
    • Databases exposure: MS SQL and Oracle fundamentals, including backup and restores, restore testing, retention/encryption policies, data anonymization
    • Web delivery and security: hands-on with reverse proxies/web servers (e.g., NGINX) for setup, load balancing, routing, and HTTPS troubleshooting
    • Exposure to containerization or virtualization (VMware, Docker/K8s)
    • Microsoft Dynamics and M365 Tools (CRM, Azure DevOps)
    • PKI and certificates: issuing, renewing, and managing digital certificates; SSL/TLS configuration and secure connections
