We’re seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to drive the quality strategy across our mobile platforms and guide a growing QA team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape our automation framework, champion best practices, and ensure flawless experiences for users across iOS and Android.
As QA Automation Lead, you’ll take ownership of the full testing lifecycle — from automation strategy and framework development to mentoring team members and collaborating across product, design, and engineering. You’ll help us deliver reliable, high-quality releases in a fast-paced, agile environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.
Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test suites for mobile (iOS and Android) and API layers.
Work with tools such as Appium, WebdriverIO, and Cucumber to expand and optimize automation coverage.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient release cycles.
Perform exploratory and manual testing to uncover usability issues and edge cases beyond automation scope.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure quality is embedded throughout the sprint process.
Track and communicate QA metrics, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
Continuously refine QA processes, frameworks, and tooling to increase reliability, speed, and visibility.
What You Bring
5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on mobile test automation.
Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers.
Expertise in automation frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Appium, and Cucumber.
Strong knowledge of iOS and Android testing and familiarity with device cloud platforms (e.g., BrowserStack).
Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines or similar).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a collaborative mindset.
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience in fintech, startups, or high-growth environments is a plus.
