Playtech‘s Ash Studio Team is looking for a creative and innovative 2D Animator Game Animator with expertise in creating digital animations and effects.

As a Game Animator, you will bring characters, symbols, and environments to life in engaging, high-energy games, with a focus on slot game animations.

Your influential mission. You will…

• Provide ideas and create animations for slot games.
• Create animated game previews.
• Understand, follow and lead a product vision provided by the Game Producer.
• Create marketing materials for games such as promo videos, teasers, animated icons etc.
• Prepare the graphic assets for animation.
• Understand and implement the technical requirements for the games during the animation production.
• Present animated samples of the game’s graphic elements for management approval
• Come up with ideas and solutions both graphical and functional for problematic visual issues during the game creation process.
• Complete changes and fixes on the approved animations when needed due to technical requirements or feature changes.

 Components for success. You…

• Have 2+ years of experience as a 2D Spine animator.
• Possess extensive knowledge of Spine and Adobe After Effects, including plugins.
• Be familiar with graphic AI tools (e.g., MidJourney, Stable Diffusion) to generate or enhance assets.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of animation principles.
• Stay up-to-date with styles, effects, and trends in the gaming industry,
• Be skilled in giving and receiving constructive feedback, collaborating with designers, developers, and artists to refine animations.
• Be a strong team player with clear and effective communication skills to align with project goals and deadlines.
• Excel in problem-solving and creativity, designing innovative animations for diverse game themes.
• Have the ability to multitask, managing multiple animation projects under tight schedules.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality animations that meet the demands of rapid game development cycles.

• An art background with strong 2D drawing skills (a significant advantage).
• Understanding of the game development process, including familiarity with game design, UI integration, and engine workflows.
• Scripting for automation
• Knowledge of asset optimization techniques to reduce file sizes for performance.
• Experience with other animation tools.
