Junior MS SQL Database Administrator

Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing. You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC, Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM Solutions. We are looking for a Junior MS SQL Database Administrator to join our international team in Sofia.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of MS SQL databases.

• Support database migrations and upgrades.

• Document database systems and components.

• Help with performance analysis and troubleshooting.

• Learn and support the installation, configuration, and monitoring of database systems.

Your Profile:

• Degree in (business) computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent training.

• Basic experience with MS SQL databases.

• Understanding of performance optimization, scripting, and monitoring of MS SQL systems.

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends.

• Interest in learning other database technologies.
