Data Scientist (Dynamic Pricing)

Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing. You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC, Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM Solutions. You will work in an international environment and culture with a constant exchange of onsite-/offsite knowledge.

We are looking for a Data Scientist (Dynamic Pricing) to join our international team in Sofia.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create data science products for dynamic pricing, or implement standardized solutions, as a part of our central analytics team and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Implement and automate data science algorithms.

• Define and deploy models and end-to-end pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

• Contribute to the maintenance of the infrastructure required for data science projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AI and machine learning

Your Profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, economics, marketing, data science, or a similar field.

• You have profound knowledge of at least one relevant programming language. Ideally, you are proficient in Python and experienced in collaborative software development and the usage of version control systems such as git.

• You have practical experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, regarding in particular

o building CI/CD pipelines

o deployment of applications

o DevOps workflows

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• You are familiar with methods of agile project management.

• You have experience, or you are willing to develop skills, in domains such as dynamic pricing, consumer analytics, and demand forecasting.

• The ability to work in English is required. Speaking German is a plus.
