Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing. You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC, Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM Solutions. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our international team in Sofia for one of our internal companies called Brocacef.

Brocacef Group, part of the PHOENIX group in Mannheim, Germany, has commenced the cloud transformation. As a cloud engineer, you will play a major role in this process. You will have the opportunity to co-determine and shape this together with your (international) colleagues.

The Cloud Engineer team works closely with the Cloud Architect within the local Cloud-Center of-Excellence (CCOE) team, which is under the responsibility of the Manager of Technology and Applications. This team consists of a multidisciplinary team of about 7 colleagues, some of whom are still transitioning to the Cloud in terms of expertise.

Your Responsibilities:

• Acting as a spearhead in Azure and working with developers, managers, and CIT to ensure stable and predictable operation of our services in Azure.

• Establishing standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), necessary automation for self-service in the Azure cloud, and supporting the setup of IaC and CI/CD for cloud applications.

• Collaborating with architects and other professionals, both internally at Brocacef but also in collaboration with CIT and third parties, to develop designs and implement new services in Azure.

• Preparation and ongoing update of documentation, procedures, etc.

• Participation in various projects.

Your Profile:

• 3+ years of experience with Azure (Enterprise Scale Landing Zone Architecture).

• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GIT), PowerShell, YAML, Azure CLI.

• Experience with Azure IAAS services.

• DevOps way of working, Agile.

If you also have knowledge of any of the following matters, that would be an advantage: Azure Policy, Policy-as-Code, Security tooling (Defender, Sentinel) or Databricks.
