Data Warehouse Architect

Paynetics is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and proactive professional to join our team as a Data Warehouse Architect. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of our Data Warehouse. Your efforts will significantly influence data democratization and reporting, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and structured for strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse architectures and sophisticated data models.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements.
• Define and implement strategic data initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish and enforce data standards, quality rules, and governance policies to guarantee consistency across the organization.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and other business teams to successfully deliver high-impact data projects.

Our Requirements & Skillset:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role.
• Expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and data migration tools.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and multi-dimensional data models.
• Hands-on experience in database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL, reporting tools, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to write and optimize complex queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive ownership of projects, driving tasks independently from inception through completion.
• A mindset of continuous improvement, regularly suggesting enhancements to code quality, architecture, and processes.
