About the position

Here, we develop a lot of slot games! We use PixiJS for the frontend and NodeJS for the backend, all in TypeScript. We have an expanding framework for game development and we constantly add new features to it. Games math/backend algorithms are developed by the same people, who build the front-end, with the help of our mathematicians in-house. You don’t need extensive backend experience – it’s all JS. We are looking for someone who is ready to both use and extend our internal libraries and develop new games with them.

Responsibilities:

• Develop slot game projects from start to finish.
• Develop new features and improve current ones in our game products with TypeScript, Pixi.js and React.js.
• Fix various bugs, reported in Jira.
• Participate in discussions and technical decision-making.
• Have a good understanding of the internal and 3rd party tools we use.
• Work closely with the art team to find the best workflow.
• Improve your skills and level up.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in TypeScript – 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with PixiJS and/or GSAP.
• Experience with React and Immer or other immutability libraries.
• Strong skills in HTML/CSS.
• Extensive experience with Git and version control.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
• Have a genuine interest in learning and becoming a better developer.
• A team player.
