Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps specialist with a deep background in Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and automation. In this position, you’ll design, implement, and maintain resilient infrastructure solutions while adhering to industry-leading performance and security practices.

What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and Enhance Infrastructure – Oversee both cloud-based and on-premises environments, continually refining and improving them for optimal performance and stability.
• Streamline Development Lifecycles – Identify areas for automation to expedite development and release processes, ensuring fast, reliable delivery of updates and new features.
• Uphold Best Practices – Champion stringent security controls and performance benchmarks, making certain that all systems comply with modern standards and guidelines.
• Develop Resilience Tools – Build robust solutions and frameworks that minimize service disruptions and improve user satisfaction by proactively addressing potential issues.
• Conduct Incident Analysis – Investigate root causes of production glitches, drive resolutions, and collaborate on strategies to prevent future occurrences. 
  
• Establish Maintenance Protocols – Define procedures and documentation for effective system troubleshooting and upkeep, enabling swift recovery and stable operation.
• Contribute to Architectural Initiatives – Work hand-in-hand with development teams to shape software and infrastructure decisions that align with overall project goals.
• Collaborate Across Teams – Engage with peers and stakeholders to find innovative, scalable solutions for infrastructure, security, and product development issues.

Your Skills and Experience

Kubernetes Mastery

• Solid command of Kubernetes internals, including operators, custom resources, and key control plane components.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), admission controllers, scheduling logic, and networking features such as CNIs, ingress controllers, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with autoscaling (e.g., Cluster API) and storage integration (CSI or similar technologies).Cloud Integration & APIs

Cloud Integration & APIs

• Proficiency in merging custom APIs with Kubernetes, plus knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, and storage services.
• An understanding of Cloud Controller Manager (CCM) principles.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Strong foundation in Linux administration and debugging.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices, CI/CD setups, and container orchestration pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed storage (e.g., etcd) and concepts like leader election for high-availability environments.

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role. 
• Strong Linux system administration skills, with a deep understanding of system performance, security, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including real-world experience with large-scale clusters, Ingress configurations, RBAC policies, and secrets management.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a proven track record using Terraform or CloudFormation to build complex, production-ready environments.

Nice-to-Have:

•  Certification (CKA or CKAD) and/or other CNCF recognitions.
• Experience contributing to open-source Kubernetes projects or developing operators and CRDs.
• Advanced proficiency in Go and an interest in fostering cloud-native best practices.
