We are working on projects around the world: almost all countries in Europe, Middle East, USA and Africa. We are a strategic partner of the biggest SAP Services providers where we are delivering Implementation and Support services. NTT Data Business Solutions is a part of NTT Data Business Solutions Germany.

    We are looking for a skilled Design System Figma Expert to join our team. This role involves creating, maintaining, organizing and distributing high-quality UI components by following the SAP Design System’s principles. Your expertise in various aspects of design language will be essential in creating a unified and scalable design system component at scale.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create consistent, high-quality UI components for the SAP Web Design System.
    • Provide and maintain a robust design token architecture to ensure cohesive, scalable, and robust UI elements across teams and products.
    • Follow industry best practices when composing UI elements at scale.
    • Take initiative to identify and resolve visual design inconsistencies.
    • Improve and maintain handoff and design processes across products and teams.
    • Collaborate with designers to integrate the SAP Web Design System into product development.
    • Create and maintain UI components across several theming modes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Visual Design, Graphic Design, Interface Design, Industrial Design, Media Design, or related field.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in leading visual design projects, ideally in a global environment.
    • Attention to detail without sacrificing the ease of use and adaptability.
    • A stunning design portfolio that displays a spectrum of creative design solutions.
    • Ability to present ideas clearly and compellingly across continents and cultures.
    • Know-how of accessibility standards is beneficial.
    • Possess a proven track record in designing elements of a design language such as color, typography, illustration, iconography, spacing & layout, and more.
    • Demonstrate visually compelling, innovative, and effective designs.
    • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in creating cohesive sets of UI components and layouts.
    • Ability to create high-quality UI elements from scratch and maintain their variables at scale.
    • Ability to adapt UI components promptly based on user feedback.
    • Possess a proven track record of developing scalable designs across platforms and scales.
    • Proficient in Figma and its best practices such as auto-layout, Dev-mode, Variables, Co) and other industry-standard tools.
    • Maintain and orchestrate high-volume Figma libraries.
    • Structured and independent working style with a passion for accuracy and a positive, self-motivated, can-do attitude.
    • A very good command of written and spoken English is a must.
