    OUR CLIENT

    Our client is a boutique IT company with offices in Germany & Bulgaria (40+ employees), helping European companies in the energy and finance sector with integrating, securing and maintaining their data, reduce operational costs and position themselves better in their market. For their growing team we are looking for an experienced professional for the role of a “Senior Business Analyst”. The person will be responsible for projects related to the integration of energy products & systems, migrations, digitalization, product development within big Tier 1 – Tier 3 global companies.

    Senior Business Analyst (Energy Sector) – fully remote

    Responsibilities:

    • Understand clients’ business needs and functionality requirements;
    • Make an architectural design decision of how to implement the client’s requirements;
    • Create business, functional and technical specification documents and customer workflow documents;
    • Assist the developers in understanding the customers’ requirements;
    • Configure/extend the system to best fulfill the technical specifications;
    • Evaluate and analyze the requirements, validate with the technical teams and developers and return a proposal for implementation and agree on the timelines;
    • Perform tests on functionalities and troubleshoot bugs and issues;
    • Work closely with the internal development team on the development and implementation of new customer requirements as part of their on-going support contracts as well as on developing our own software products;
    • Create and execute test scenarios to make sure that the implemented functionalities work as expected and meet the customer requirements;
    • Deliver training for clients and their end-users on basic use of the system, the newly implemented functionalities, etc.

    Requirements:

    • University degree in Mathematics, Finance or similar;
    • At least 3 years of previous experience in Business Analysis role;
    • Experience in writing functional and business specifications;
    • Previous experience in the Energy sector or Energy trading;
    • Previous experience with ETRM systems such as Allegro, Endur, Brady.
    • Solid experience with SQL and Excel;
    • Customer-oriented personality;
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
    • German would be a strong advantage;
    • Excellent English skills.
