Cybersecurity Engineer (f/m/x)

YOUR MISSION

• Develop and implement security strategies for our Java-based microservices and Angular frontend applications.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans across our platform.
• Design and enforce secure coding practices for developers.
• Manage and improve IAM controls.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, working closely with DevOps and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.
• Automate security processes using tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DevSecOps.
• Perform penetration testing and collaborate with external security audits.
• Research and integrate AI-driven security solutions to enhance our threat detection capabilities.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-Have:

• 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• Strong knowledge of application security (OWASP, secure coding, vulnerability management).

• Experience with network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevSecOps.

• Hands-on experience with security tools (Azure Sentinel, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, firewalls, endpoint protection).

• Understanding of cryptography, PKI, and secure authentication mechanisms.

• Familiarity with microservices security best practices.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2 compliance frameworks.

• Fluent English and Bulgarian.

Nice-to-Have:

• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience securing AI-based applications and ML models.

• Exposure to container security (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Background in incident response and forensics.

• Security in CI-CD (Gitlab).
