Senior Android Developer

Our client is a software product company, developing an innovative IPTV/OTT TV platform for video storage and streaming. Due to their gradual and sustained growth, we are actively looking for talented and enthusiastic Senior Android Developer to join their team.

The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker, an excellent communicator, with passion for the OTT revolution. You will be part of a highly collaborative development process and will be writing leading-edge code.

The Role:

• Build reusable Android components to interface with our back-end platform
• Implement user interfaces using the latest Kotlin and Android SDKs
• Support the components in production and ensure their reliability
• Ensure architectural consistency between the multiple components of the platform
• Analyze and optimize the UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
• Work closely with our product and design teams to build a new and innovative application experience
• Focus on technical leadership, engineering quality, and execution of product development

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of the Kotlin programming language, Android UI design principles and accessibility best practices
• Experience building complex applications using the Kotlin and Android frameworks
• Experience with multithreaded programming
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of the best coding practices and standards

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Android TV / Fire TV development
• Good understanding of the platform-native UX style and standards
• Experience with TV or Video streaming apps is considered as a great advantage
