About the role:

As a Product Designer at myPOS, you’ll be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across our product ecosystem — from early discovery, research and ideation to high-quality, ready-to-launch interfaces. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders to simplify complex financial workflows and create user-friendly experiences that deliver real value to our customers and the business.

What you’ll do:

• User research & discovery
  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover insights.
  • Analyse user behaviour, needs, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define problems and opportunities.
• Ideation & concept development
  • Translate business and user requirements into design concepts.
  • Sketch, wireframe, and prototype ideas at varying levels of fidelity.
  • Run design thinking workshops or ideation sessions.
• User experience design
  • Map user journeys, flows, and interaction models.
  • Define information architecture and navigation structures.
  • Optimize workflows for clarity, accessibility, and ease of use.
• User interface design
  • Design high-fidelity mockups and pixel-perfect visuals.
  • Maintain consistency by applying design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure responsiveness and accessibility across devices.
• Evolve our visual language
  • Maintain and extend the myPOS design system so that every touchpoint feels cohesive, accessible, and on-brand.
  • Design and document patterns, components, and guidelines to ensure consistency at scale.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with Product Managers to align on priorities and goals.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and correctly implemented.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Data, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive product experience.
• Advocacy & Leadership
  • Champion user-centered design across the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and design feedback to peers or junior designers.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies.

This role is perfect for you if you have: 

• 3+ years experience in product design roles (UX/UI) shipping digital products end-to-end.
• High level of competency with design and prototyping tooling, including Figma.
• A portfolio that demonstrates user-centered solutions to real problems, showcasing UX and UI skillset.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and design systems.
• Ability to create research plans, conduct interviews/usability tests and distil insights.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative and growth-oriented mindset.
