About the role:

As Data Architect you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s data infrastructure. This role involves creating efficient, scalable, and secure data architectures that support business processes and data-driven decision-making. Collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Define, implement, and continuously improve data management processes
• Implement Data Governance, Master data management, Data quality assurance, data ownership and stewardship practices
• Implement best practices for data modeling, data flows and integration modeling.
• Designs to support analytics and reporting requirements
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and cost-efficiency
• Leverage GCP Data lake, BigQuery and Databricks for data processing, storage, and analytics
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data assets
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions
• Stay updated with the latest data technologies and trends and recommend improvements.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of data management frameworks, methodologies, and industry standards
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data integration, data warehousing, and data architecture
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Databricks
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
• Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages
• UML Data Modelling experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
• Certifications in GCP or related data technologies
• Experience with machine learning and data science projects
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices
• A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence
• Fluent in English.
