In Bulgaria within the Aviation industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to develop a system used in 55 countries for System Wide Information Management (SWIM), Air Traffic Management (ATM), Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), and Message Handling Systems (MHS).

In your role you’ll become a vital member in a team of skilled professionals, including more than 50 team members such as Software Engineers, Quality assurance engineers, project coordinators, leaders, etc. Here you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to global technological progress while at the same time advancing your own skills, and career.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in application development with Java
• Solid experience with Spring Framework or Quarcus and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Python and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with GitHub or GitLab version control.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to work in sprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-have skills:

This is your role

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications that meet business requirements.
• Integrate externally developed components into existing application environments.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems to contribute to the successful completion of major projects.
• Implement standards, security measures, and industry best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct and participate in peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, overseeing all stages from design to implementation.
• Proactively manage technical debt to ensure code quality and project sustainability.
• Engage in regular training sessions and certification courses to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
