Modeshift is a product development company building software for public transportation. Our goal is to improve the life of the people by providing better transportation services. Our product covers the full spectrum of transportation management needs, covering passengers’ mobile apps, vehicle schedules and monitoring, fare management, payment processing, and analytics. This is tightly integrated with various devices that we use – handhelds, validators, vehicle computers, etc. Our system is used in over 50 cities US, Romania, and Bulgaria.

Responsibilities

Produce high-fidelity prototypes and analyze product features as well as user journeys.

Work closely with product manager and engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes

Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Participate actively in the development of a product that is used by people of all ages and experiences, making usability critical for our success.

Keep consistency in the product as a design language while adding new functionalities and options.

Qualifications

Analytical thinking and ability to create intuitive user experiences

UX design skills and experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, etc.

Experience working with design systems and familiarity with contemporary design patterns

Excellent attention to detail

Good understanding of color science and combinations
