Responsibilities
You’ll be working on the Modeshift mobile apps used by operators of the system – kiosks, inspectors, POS terminals and vending machines. We’ll expect you to own and deliver complete features, including implementation, testability, and deployment. We’re looking for a person with keen eye for the detail.
We base our work on high-definition wireframes and we use tools like Axure and Sketch to define the UI. You’ll be working with experienced UX designer and a team of full-stack developers.
Qualifications
Professional experience in mobile software developing native Android apps with Java and/or Kotlin
Solid experience with RESTful APIs
Experience with code versioning tools and CI/CD process
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mobile programming languages like Swift, Kotlin, Java, and Objective-C
Experience with automation testing of mobile apps
Coding practices including peer code reviews, testing, and a preference for agile development.
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C# or Python.

Hiring process
We do 3 meetings. The first one is a quick intro to get to know each other. Then we will do a technical interview – you may expect algorithmic and system design questions. Should take less than 2 hours. The 3rd one will be a team/cultural fit where you will meet the other members and visit the office too. Again, less than 2 hours. We are open to making some or all the meetings online.
