Information Security Engineer – Secure the Future of Finance

What you’ll do:

• Security Automation Specialist: Automate security controls and compliance checks to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.

• Incident Responder: Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and threats in real-time to protect our systems and data.

• Security Integration Advocate: Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security tools and testing into our CI/CD pipelines.

• Secure Infrastructure Architect: Design and maintain secure IT and application infrastructures, with a focus on cloud platforms and internal systems.

• Risk Assessor: Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Policy Contributor: Help develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Secure Code Advisor: Provide guidance to development teams on secure coding practices and help fix security-related issues early in the development lifecycle.

• Stay Ahead of Threats: Keep up with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.

What you bring to the table:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Security-Focused DevOps Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration with a strong focus on security (DevSecOps or similar).

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, Java).

• Cloud Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Security Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with security tools like IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption protocols, and authentication systems.

• CI/CD Understanding: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security best practices.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across engineering, product, and security teams.

• English Proficient: Fluent in English (spoken and written) to communicate clearly in a global fintech environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Cybersecurity Certifications: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or similar.

• DevOps Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant cloud certifications.

• Fintech Background: Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.

• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, or GDPR.

• Security Tools Experience: Experience with tools like Vault, Terraform, Ansible, Kiali, Falco, or OWASP ZAP.
