Desired Skills and Experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 4 years in a leadership/management role. Extensive experience with Java and its ecosystems. Proven experience in the fintech sector, with a deep understanding of financial systems, payment gateways, and regulatory compliance.
• Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in working with cryptocurrency technologies, blockchain, smart contracts, etc. Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills. Effective communication skills to facilitate interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Sound project management skills to manage timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

Your main responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing backend engineering team.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of Java and backend technologies to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable and robust engineering solutions.
• Strategic Planning: Collaboratively define the technical direction and develop roadmaps for backend engineering efforts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful products.
• Security Compliance: Ensure the highest standards of security compliance, particularly relevant to financial and cryptocurrency regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.
