Solution Engineer

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join one of our teams in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of work).

You will be part of:

In Tech Excellence, our mission is to empower the global Sales organization by providing state of the art solution design and tech know-how.

Key responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support: Provide hands-on and technical assistance during customer meetings, exhibitions, and events. Lead product demonstrations and secure technical wins to help drive business.
• Channel Partner Collaboration: Work closely with distributors, integrators, consultants, and key accounts to build and educate Milestone knowledge within the channel, as well as support for tenders, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Training & Development: Contribute to continuous product training for sales teams, partners, and distributors. Attend and conduct technical seminars, roadshows, and exhibitions to support Milestone’s go-to-market strategy.
• Support tenders’ responses across the region
• Maintain our Sofia Concept Center with periodically updates and upgrades for Milestone products as well as third party integrated technologies
• Travel & Client Interaction: Travel regionally and internationally to attend customer meetings, industry events, and Milestone HQ for training and collaboration.
• Product Expertise: Stay updated with the latest advancements in video surveillance, IT, and Video Management Software (VMS) technologies within our ecosystem.

What we expect from you:

• Deep IT industry knowledge in Networking, Virtualization and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Highly familiarity with Industry standard hardware such as servers, network appliances, storage.
• Knowledge of IP networks and IP video / CCTV.
• Ability to validate/evaluate if an information systems or operational architecture meets technical requirements and specifications.
• Being in possession of one the following certifications or higher would be considered a plus:
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) – Windows Server 2012-2019
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Routing and Switching
  • VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
  • Hyper-V (MCITP)
  • SQL (MTA) – Database
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. Other languages – advantage!
