    The Global IT group provides IT solutions to Milestone business and customers:

    • It safeguards and drives IT Enterprise Architecture, defines IT Solution Architecture, and leads IT security by defining IT policies and setting guard rails for behavior, acceptable use, and compliance.
    • The provided services include: software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, data analytics, Digital Workplace, end-user support and much more.
    • IT Operations & End User Services are part of Global IT. The group delivers the Digital Workplace and end user support to all Milestone employees, as well as operational services to ensure the availability of Milestone’s IT Services.
    • The groups works from Milestone locations in EMEA, Americas and APAC.

    We are now looking for Manager, Security & Incident Response based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead an IT Operations team of 14 delivering 24/7 monitoring, Security and Incident Response and IT Operations following ITIL Incident, Change and Problem Management best practices.

    • Ensure the team has the needed resources, capacity and skills to fulfil the committed responsibilities.
    • Еnsure employee engagement and people growth.
    • Maintain awareness on how the team is positioned in the organization and react to changes of demand type and volumes.
    • Select, guide and coach the team members. Eliminate impediments when necessary, or when management involvement is needed.

    Be a part of the End user Services and Operations Leadership Team:

    • Еxecute on the IT Business Plan.
    • Тake part in the quarterly goal setting process, own and execute on initiatives set in the IT Leadership Organization.
    • Build strong relationship with the team managers in the leadership team.
    • Be active towards moving to better quality and efficiency.
    • Be open to honest and transparent discussions which lead to moving the teams and organization to a better state.

    Provide input to the organization aligned with the global processes and business goals:

    • Budget for IT costs, track expenses and compare actuals to forecast.
    • Make regular performance and salary reviews according to process.
    • Support the organization’s programs, initiatives and KPIs – maintain ISO 27001 security certification, keep the number of incidents under a certain level, receive new solutions into operations, improve process maturity etc.
    • Manage 3rd party vendors.

    What We Expect:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Experience: 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing infrastructure, systems administration, and security operations.
    • Experience either as a team lead or people manager is a must
    • Incident management: Strong background in incident response coordination, including system outages, data breaches, and security incidents, ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
    • Leading across teams: Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, external vendors during critical security events/.
    • ITIL knowledge: Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and experience managing within an ITSM environment, including ticketing systems, SLAs, and operational KPIs
    • Process management skills: Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS) and how they apply to IT operations and security.
