About the team:

The Media Metadata team will be responsible for capturing, structuring, and querying media analytics events and metadata, enabling the Product Experience teams to deliver cutting-edge features.

We are now looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join the team in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of work – a combination of in-office and working from home).

What you will be doing most of the time:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive API test suites for microservices architectures according to product requirements
• Developing automated integrations and end-to-end test scenarios across multiple services
• Conduct code reviews for other team members, regarding automated tests.
• Creating, executing, and automating test plans and scenarios for both new and existing products
• Analyzing and maintaining test results, documenting issues, and ensuring resolution
• Creating and maintaining test documentation and test strategy

How you can match:

• 3+ years of professional experience in the software testing field
• 1+ year experience with automated testing
• Complete understanding of the QA process and software development methodologies
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols, APIs, and containerization (HTTP, REST, gRPC, Docker)
• Strong skills in developing and maintaining test automation.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Integration testing
• Familiarity with version control systems such as git
• Basic understanding of Linux server environments
• Excellent English

Considered an advantage:

• Experience with testing frameworks for API testing.
• Basic knowledge and experience in testing microservices and API
