    Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join one of our teams!

    Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the reliability and quality of our software products. You’ll work closely with developers, manual testers, and product managers in an Agile environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend services
    • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
    • Collaborate with developers and QA team to ensure full test coverage
    • Execute automated test runs, analyze results, and document defects
    • Create and manage test data and test environments

     

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in QA automation
    • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit)
    • Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
    • Strong knowledge of databases and ability to write SQL queries
    • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication skills

     

    Advantages

    • Experience with testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
