Java Developer

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a Java Developer to join one of our teams.

Our client is looking for a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our growing development team. As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust backend systems using modern technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Java
• Work with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with team members, product managers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Follow Agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (server-side)
• 3+ years of experience working with Microservices
• Experience with NoSQL databases – MongoDB is a plus
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms – AWS is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field – advantage
• Some positions require a Full Stack profile, including hands-on experience with Angular
