DevOps Lead

We’re looking for a DevOps Lead to play a pivotal role in this journey. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the initial architecture, establishing DevOps best practices, and later building and leading a high-performing DevOps team. You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure our services are delivered smoothly, securely, and at scale — all powered by public cloud AWS / GCP.

What You’ll Do:

– Design, build, and own our DevOps architecture from the ground up

– Establish and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient public cloud infrastructure – AWS / GCP

– Build CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable delivery of our applications

– Define and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure uptime and rapid troubleshooting

– Champion automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the organization

– Collaborate with developers and QA to streamline build, test, and deployment processes

– Ensure infrastructure meets regulatory and security standards required in iGaming

– Drive cost efficiency and scalability

– Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing DevOps team as the company scales.

– Define and track operational KPIs (uptime, deployment frequency, MTTR, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

– 7+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role

– Strong hands-on expertise with AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, etc.) or equivalent in GCP

– Solid background in deployments and runtime optimization

– Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)

– Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Helm)

– Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)

– Familiarity with monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)

– Experience with security best practices, compliance, and regulated industries

– Startup mindset: hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments

Nice-to-Have:

– Experience in iGaming or highly regulated industries

– Proven success in designing architecture from scratch in a startup or greenfield environment.

– Scripting/programming skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar)

– Knowledge of slot game delivery pipelines, or real-time transaction-heavy systems

– Exposure to ISO27001, GDPR compliance, and gaming regulators’ requirements

– Database scaling experience (Postgres, MySQL, Redis)

– Understanding of service mesh and microservices architectures
