WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Deep diving and building expertise into complex technological problems and solutions, predominantly in the infrastructure and developer tooling realm – e.g. alternative client implementations
• Design, test, and build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for innovative blockchain solutions
• Aiding blockchain architects internally and transferring knowledge from the R&D efforts
• Advising/consulting clients on latest technological trends and issues in blockchain
• Produce high-quality research publications that contribute to the broader blockchain community
• Attending events (online/in-person) and generally being active in tech discussions with peers
• Engaging with the Ethereum developer community and building a strong professional network in the blockchain space

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Experience in engineering, at least 1-2 years in blockchain
• Understanding of Solidity is required
• Genuinely curious about blockchain technology
• Some understanding of the current landscape – e.g. Ethereum and its L2s, Geth, block building, ZK proofs, MEV etc. or willingness to learn at the very least
• Ability to put research findings into digestible research publication
• Adequate soft skills to communicate research effectively
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong self-organization and a high sense of agency
• Understanding of Solidity is required
• Rust experience is a nice to have, or at least the willingness to learn
