Linux DevOps Engineer

KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of the KPMG network member firms and their clients. We employ about 500 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including SAP solutions, Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud and Infrastructure.

Our Cloud Services unit is focused on designing, building, securing and managing cloud native & hybrid platforms for the KPMG group of member firms, as well as providing cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.

Our team is now extending and is looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer. Our current technology stack (non-ordered) in the different projects and environments mainly includes: RHEL, Azure, Kubernetes. In addition, we often have to tackle the following tools and technologies: Terraform/Packer, Ansible/Bash, Azure DevOps, AKS, Foreman, Zabbix and others.

Your responsibilities:

• Full Linux OS-level support (storage, patching, security, AD-integration, etc.)
• Configuration and implementation of Linux systems
• Work with different Azure systems and tools
• Support the KPMG teams with the deployment and management of monitoring/ capacity management tools in the environments
• Check the daily and weekly reports generated by the security scanners and troubleshoot/ fix any problems reported
• Raise tickets on behalf of KPMG with 3rd parties and vendors
• Utilize existing automation in everyday tasks and work on improving and extending it as needed
• Resolve complex incidents and problems in production environment

What you bring in:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience as RHEL system administrator
• Experience with Azure or other public clouds (GCP/AWS) is a must
• Experience with Kubernetes or a managed service like AKS/GKE/EKS is a strong advantage
• Experience with scripting (bash/Python)
• Experience with monitoring systems is a plus
• Experience with Ansible is a plus
• Experience in any of following is an advantage: Terraform, Packer, Azure DevOps pipelines
• Fluent in English
