We are looking for a highly driven, talented, and self-motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team of world-class engineers.
Job requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
Strong Linux skills and experience with Linux server administration.
Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMWare ESXi, Docker).
Solid experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
Deep expertise with at least one high level programming language (preferably Python).
Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins (must) and Gitlab CI (preferred).
Knowledge of source control management tools (we use Gitlab) and the accompanying CI/CD processes.
Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code best practices with Terraform or equivalent.
Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, ELK stack).

Extreme ownership mindset (we aren’t fans of micromanagement).
Capacity to find any optimization opportunities, gaps and bottlenecks and suggest solutions in a presentable way, targeting a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience with networking protocols and services (e.g., SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Understanding of vulnerability scanners and static analysis tools.
Job responsibilities:
Make the product better, faster and cheaper using everything at your disposal to do so.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
Manage cloud resources (AWS, Azure) and on-premises environments (VMware), including virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancers and more.
Assist with deployment and system setup for engineering and development projects.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid and continuous software delivery.
Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to ensure smooth build and release processes.
Implement and troubleshoot any issues faced during development and deployment.
Create and maintain custom scripts to improve system performance and reduce manual intervention.
Implement and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Continuously assess and improve system reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
