Job Description:
Coordinate and execute the qualification of valve terminals with fieldbus interfaces and automation-compatible components
Work on products utilized across diverse industries and machinery, including robotics, packaging, assembly, testing, and process equipment
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary, Agile product team to develop test specifications and communication analyses for automation systems, including PLC controllers, bus interfaces, I/O modules, and intelligent valve terminals using various Industrial Ethernet protocols
Support testing during the development of intelligent valve terminals by designing and implementing test setups and strategies
Analyze test results, prepare detailed protocols, and provide insights for product improvements
Offer testing support for customer-specific solutions, competitive benchmarking, and complaint investigations
Conduct technical research, feasibility studies, and develop innovative test solutions to enhance product performance
Requirements:
Proficiency in using electronic measurement tools, conducting electrical measurements, and monitoring/logging communication systems
Practical experience with remote I/O systems and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, Rockwell) is preferred
Familiarity with fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP is an asset
Prior experience with Functional Safety is an advantage
Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and topics effectively
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural workplace
Client-focused, striving to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in both written and spoken English
