Senior Software Tester (Manual Focus)

IT-Impulse is expanding to Bulgaria, with an office in Sofia, where we are building a local team of IT specialists. We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries and we act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.

IT-Impulse with its offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) is the point of contact when it comes to IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Tester to ensure the quality, accessibility, and reliability of our web applications. You will design and execute manual tests, validate accessibility and functionality, and mentor junior testers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and run manual test cases for web apps built on .NET (C#), Angular (TypeScript), and SQL Server
• Check functionality, usability, and WCAG accessibility compliance
• Lead test planning, coverage review, and defect management
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts
• Support regression and exploratory testing for releases
• Mentor junior testers and share QA best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience in manual testing for web applications
• Good understanding of .NET, Angular, and SQL Server
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience in Agile environments
• Excellent communication and defect management skills

Desirable:

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Experience with Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• ISTQB certification
