Network Automation Engineer

IT-Impulse is expanding to Bulgaria, with an office in Sofia, where we are building a local team of IT specialists. We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries and we act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.

IT-Impulse with its offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) is the point of contact when it comes to IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.

About the role:

We are looking for a skilled Network Automation Engineer with expertise in Cisco, Fortinet, and Python scripting to enhance network automation and infrastructure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network automation solutions.
• Develop and integrate APIs for network management.
• Automate network deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Maintain and enhance the network automation portal.
• Improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong networking knowledge (Cisco, Fortinet, routing, switching, security).
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive automation initiatives.
