CAD Designer/Programmer

IT-Impulse is expanding to Bulgaria, with an office in Sofia, where we are building a local team of IT specialists. We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries and we act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.

IT-Impulse with its offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) is the point of contact when it comes to IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer/Programmer to join our project on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience developing custom solutions within the AutoCAD environment, specifically for topographic mapping applications.

This project involves creating a classification system and implementing a program for the development of topographic maps across multiple CAD platforms, including AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and NanoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop programs to support topographic map creation within CAD environments.
• Implement a full classification system for topographic survey symbols across multiple scales.
• Ensure compatibility and functionality in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and NanoCAD.
• Incorporate topographic symbol standards based on the following profiles:
  • Topography
  • 3DService
  • Structure Sketches
• Develop and maintain functionality for:
  • Drawing topographic maps with standard symbols.
  • Route tracing and automated route documentation.
  • Surface modeling.
  • Automatic generation of contour lines.
  • Profile output generation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience programming within AutoCAD (e.g., AutoLISP, .NET API, or similar).
• Familiarity with BricsCAD and NanoCAD environments is a strong plus.
• Understanding of cartographic and topographic standards and symbol classifications.
• Experience with terrain modeling, contour generation, and route documentation in CAD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality code on schedule.
