Junior DevOps Engineer

Job description:

• Assist in the management and maintenance of infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications and systems
• Develop automation scripts using scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency and streamline processes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to build, manage, and maintain cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure
• Deploy and manage applications using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Continuously monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and implement proactive measures for high availability and stability
• Support the delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
• Contribute to the documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure transparency and consistency
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation

The main requirements are:

• At least 1 year in SRE/DevOps role
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and comfortable working with command-line interfaces
• Comfortable using at least one scripting language
• Familiarity with:
• Cloud Platforms
• Containerization
• CI/CD tools
• IaC tools
• Configuration management
• Observability tools
• To freely communicate in English – both written and spoken
• Any practical knowledge with a DevOps tools is a plus
