Job description:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, high-performance infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute DevOps strategies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Architect and deploy containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for streamlined application deployment and management
Design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively ensure system health and performance (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)
Optimize and enhance CI/CD pipelines, improving efficiency and reliability in software releases
Lead incident response and troubleshooting, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing downtime
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing infrastructure improvements
Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity in system architecture, processes, and operational procedures
The main requirements are:
Experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
Experience in CI/CD concepts and with tools
Experience with configuration management tools
Comfortable working with Git
Experience with Atlassian Software Development and Collaboration products (Jira, Confluence, Portfolio)
Comfortable in scripting languages
Experience working with an Infrastructure-as-Code tool like Terraform
Strong system administration background for Linux based systems
Comfortable with networking fundamentals like Firewalls, Subnetting, Route tables etc.
Implemented and maintained DevOps and/or CM tools in small to medium sized development team
Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Icinga, etc.
Experience with logging tools such as ELK/EFK stack or similar
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure
To freely communicate in English – both written and spoken
