To lead this shift, we are establishing INDEAVR Applied AI: a focused, high-impact unit designed to turn AI into real, usable business outcomes. We are looking for a Head of Applied AI to build and lead this capability.

This is not a traditional AI delivery or people-management role. The Head of Applied AI will build a market-facing, applied AI engine that:

• Moves faster than enterprise delivery cycles
• Creates prototypes, accelerators, and reusable AI assets
• Helps clients adopt AI where they cannot simply staff their way forward
• Feeds proven solutions back into enterprise-scale delivery across Marlabs
• Operates at the intersection of technology, architecture, business value and go-to-market execution

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Strategic & Capability Leadership

• Build and lead the INDEAVR Applied AI capability as a focused, high-impact unit
• Shape Applied AI domains and priorities (e.g. automation, knowledge intelligence, engineering productivity, compliance-oriented AI)
• Translate fast-moving AI innovation into clear, client-relevant value propositions
• Define how Applied AI complements and strengthens existing Cloud, Data and Digital Product Engineering capabilities

Go-To-Market & Client Impact

• Work directly with existing INDEAVR clients to identify, validate and launch AI use cases
• Lead AI-led discovery, prototyping and early-stage solution shaping
• Position INDEAVR as a high-value AI problem-solving partner, not a capacity provider
• Support pre-sales and executive-level client conversations with credibility and clarity

Applied Delivery & Reusability

• Oversee AI initiatives from discovery through validation and scale-up
• Identify patterns, accelerators, and reusable assets to reduce time-to-value
• Ensure solutions are designed with enterprise realities in mind (security, governance, scalability)
• Create a feedback loop where Applied AI learnings flow into enterprise delivery

Team & Culture

• Build a small, senior, multidisciplinary team combining engineering excellence and AI-native skills
• Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability and architectural rigor
• Set high standards without bureaucracy

Who You Are:

• You have led teams or initiatives in software engineering, data or applied AI and understand how complex systems are actually delivered
• You have hands-on experience with applied AI (ML, LLMs, automation, AI-enabled platforms), ideally in client-facing contexts
• You can connect technical decisions to business outcomes naturally
• You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping something new
• You are not looking to “manage projects”, you want to build a capability
• You are credible with engineers and trusted by senior client stakeholders
