Currently we are seeking a committed and driven ERP Master Data Manager who will be responsible for establishing, governing, and maintaining the integrity, quality, and consistency of master data across all ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365) and CRM systems. This role ensures that master data supports seamless business processes, reporting accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Key responsibilities:
Define and implement master data management (MDM) strategies, policies, standards, and procedures for key domains (e.g., products, customers, vendors, pricing, chart of accounts).
Establish and lead data governance structures and collaborate with business data owners and stewards.
Manage and oversee day-to-day master data operations in ERP and CRM systems, ensuring timely and accurate data creation, updates, and deletions.
Coordinate with business units to align master data processes with operational requirements.
Monitor data quality using validation rules, cleansing procedures, and exception handling.
Define and track key data quality metrics (accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for data issues.
Ensure that ERP master data is structured correctly to support reporting platforms (Power BI, QlikView, Cognos) and data warehouses (IBM Netezza).
Work closely with ERP & CRM Architects, IT, Business Process Owners, and Reporting/BI teams.
Support ERP/CRM rollouts, upgrades, and integration projects by managing data migration and cleansing activities.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance master data accuracy, efficiency, and automation.
Stay updated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 data management features and recommend adoption of best practices.
Key skills & qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of master data structures and processes within Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Experience working with data integration tools and techniques.
Familiarity with BI/reporting platforms such as Power BI, QlikView, Cognos, and data warehouses like IBM Netezza.
Experience with MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data stewardship programs.
Attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and completeness.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving data-related issues.
5+ years of experience in master data management, preferably within ERP environments.
Experience in multi-country or multi-entity environments is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or AX (Axapta) is required.
Certifications in data management or Dynamics 365 are a plus.
