Information Security Engineer

We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech company that’s transforming the way businesses get paid. As they continue to scale, we’re looking for an Information Security Engineer to play a key role in transforming the FinTech space to take a central role in advancing and executing security initiatives.

Working closely with cybersecurity and development teams, this individual will help align technical security efforts with broader business goals and compliance requirements. The role is crucial for maintaining a secure, reliable, and compliant environment in our fast-paced fintech landscape.

Be a key player in securing the company hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + GCP) by building and managing strong, scalable security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage security tools across on-prem and GCP.
• Maintain EDR, IPS, antivirus, Cloudflare WAF, and HSMs.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Develop detection rules, hunt threats, run forensics, and scan for vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response and serve as L3 escalation.
• Use SIEM/SOAR platforms for alerting and response.
• Work with DevOps and engineers to embed security into the SDLC.
• Support compliance efforts (ISO 27001, PCI, SOC 2).
• Document processes and drive automation and efficiency.

Your Background:

• 3+ years in hands-on cybersecurity roles.
• Experience with GCP and on-prem environments.
• Skilled in incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
• Proficient with EDR, SIEM, WAFs, scanners, and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Knowledge of security frameworks and encryption/key management.
• DevSecOps mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• Bonus: HSM experience and certifications (CISSP, GCP Security Engineer, etc.).
