About the role:
We are looking for an SAP Integration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) to join our team in Germany. The consultant will play a key role in our migration journey from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI, designing, implementing, and supporting integration scenarios across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Your next challenge:
Design, implement, and support integrations in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
Participate in the migration project from SAP PI/PO to CPI.
Develop and configure iFlows, mappings, and adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, OData, SFTP, etc.).
Apply and manage security aspects (certificates, OAuth, connectivity).
Integrate with SAP Gateway (NWGW, SAP GW) and S/4HANA APIs (OData, SOAP, CDS views).
Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of integration flows.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design end-to-end integration solutions.
Document solutions and support knowledge transfer within the team.
Your profile:
Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (designing and developing iFlows).
Experience with SAP PI/PO (ESR/ID, mappings, Java/XSLT).
Experience with adapters: SOAP, REST, IDoc, OData, SFTP
Integration with SAP Gateway (NWGW / SAP S/4HANA Gateway)
Understanding of integration standards and protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSLT, EDI).
ABAP (e.g. user exits, IDoc extensions, proxy objects, debugging).
Strong knowledge of IDoc configuration (ports, partner profiles, message types, ALE distribution model, monitoring, error handling).
Strong English communication skills (B2+). German language is a plus.
Understanding of SAP core modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) or at least experience as a strong SAP user, with ability to read functional specs and discuss business processes.
Ability to work in an international, distributed team.
Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Nice to have:
S/4HANA APIs (OData, CDS views).
Scripting knowledge (Groovy / JavaScript) for CPI mappings and custom logic.
Familiarity with API management, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) is a plus.
SAP Artificial Intelligence services (e.g. SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, AI-driven monitoring or automation in CPI/integration scenarios).
